First Options
If you believe that counselling could benefit you, please contact me to arrange a no-obligation initial assessment. This can be face-to-face, online or via telephone. This will typically last around 45-60 minutes and costs £35. In person sessions take place in a room in North Tonbridge. Online sessions will be via Zoom.
If you’re not ready for that yet, but would like to find out more about how counselling could help you, your relationship or your teen, I’m happy to offer a free 15-minute introductory phone call. If you would like to, you can then arrange an initial session after we’ve spoken by phone.
The Initial Assessment
Before the initial assessment, I will ask you to provide some background information and will provide you with some information about how I work and the practicalities of having counselling sessions with me.
In the initial assessment, we will discuss in a little more detail the difficulties you are experiencing and what you are hoping to get from counselling. You can also ask any questions you may have about how I work, how I may approach your concerns, what you can expect from counselling, etc. This session will give us both chance to see how we might work together.
Then What?
If we both feel it would be beneficial for you to undertake counselling with me, we can then arrange a convenient time to meet for weekly 60 minute sessions, costing £50 each for individuals, or £65 for couples.
I usually recommend a minimum of 6 sessions. This is because it takes time for us to build a good therapeutic relationship, to develop an understanding your situation, and for change to begin.
